Hello hello, hello!! I am so sorry my week vacation turned into a month hiatus. I have been so so so busy with school starting and working 5 days a week and everything else I have. Not to mention I am a senior this year, so scholarships and college applications are calling my name. I am going to try and be a better blogger though, I promise. A new post should be up tomorrow, after school. Thank you, to all of you. I hope you have missed me because I have been desperately missing you. I cannot wait to get the fashion back into my life. Breaking News From Yours Truly

I am writing a final summer blog to you all, sadly! I am going on a vacation tomorrow, or today really, to my old town in Virginia. I am staying for a week with my best friend Leah. We are going to have so much fun and I am so excited! When I come back next Sunday though, I start school the day after :( On the plus side though, I am a senior! Yay for 2009! I am super excited about the year to come, mainly to get it over with. Hopefully all goes well with my vacation and the start of my senior year. I will probably have to cut back on posts because school will get hectic, I have a job, and college applications are going to be crazy. I hope you will miss me readers. I will come back to you soon enough.

Breaking News From Target

So I was browsing Target on Friday night with my best friend and I came across a pair of shoes that were absolutely stunning! They are gorgeous, affordable, and so perfect in every way. Oh yeah, they would go perfectly with this black and white hounds tooth Old Navy trench coat I recently bought.

So now you are probably wondering "What is the problem?" Well I am stuck in a dilemma I guess. Here are my issues. I have no idea where I would wear these, I am 5'9 and don't normally wear heels although I walk beautifully in them, and I don't have a lot of extra money lying around right now. I am torn. I don't know if I should get them or not. Leave me a line and let me know what you think, I am so indecisive.

Just a little side note to all 12 of my readers, I love you! Without you fabulous people I would be so sad that my blog was a failure. In my opinion, if one person reads this blog and enjoys it then it is a success. I am just so proud of myself, not in a cocky conceited way, but in a joyful way. I never thought I would do anything towards fashion like I would enjoy, and now I am blogging almost daily about things that interest me and things that I love. I appreciate all the feedback you guys give me and Blogger is the first website I check every time I open my laptop. X's and O's.

Love Or Loathe: Maxi Dress

MAXI DRESS

Oh oh the maxi dress. My mixed emotions have finally come to a close. I am now loving the maxi dress. I have been in between love and loathe on the maxi dress for a while because it seemed weird to wear such a long dress casually; normally a long dress is elegant and for a special occasion. I was also weary of the maxi dress because celebrities are truly eating it up and you all know how celebrity style judgement isn't always just. I have come to a decision: the maxi dress is hot! It is very flattering on all the celebrities I have seen wearing it. The dress also has a lot of perks, a bad shoe margin since the dress covers your feet, you don't really HAVE to shave your legs, and if you haven't been able to work on your legs at the gym lately it's okay. The maxi dress really flourished this summer, even though some versions have existed before. I feel like the maxi dress is making its way to becoming a summer staple. It is really nice for the street, shopping, a casual lunch, a fancy dinner, and vacations (especially the beach breeze, no need to worry about getting chilly or a Marylin Monroe upward wind-blow). The maxi dress is all the rage!
